    you made my day today.

    Talking to you on the phone is so familiar and comforting and makes me feel like I'm not stuck in the college world for a few brief moments. You always make me smile. I still miss you so much. Can't wait 'til you pick me up from the airport. I don't know if you know, but when you said I love you before hanging up, my heart felt like it skipped a beat. It feels like we're a real couple for once. I like that we're a little unconventional, but normalcy is nice sometimes.

    According to studies like Brooks-Gunn et al. 2010, children's educational performance and personal development are in fact enhanced when both parents work at least part of the time outside of the home.
